The Nikon

Sometimes I am having a moment with the kids when I say to myself, my iPhone photos will not do this justice.  And then I usually neglect to get out my real camera anyway, because it's really hard to get to when it's, you know, right under my bed.  But sometimes I push past my initial laziness and I dig out my good old Nikon.  Here's a few photos from those Nikon moments over the last month.

Enjoying her tea set from Mallory, as she does on a daily basis.

General laziness.

She very specifically chose this pink number out of her closet today.  Is this the beginning of the end?
Will it all be pink?

Keeping cool in the most amazing January weather.

Our balcony dinner made by Scott (because I was a scary monster wife today so he sent me to my room for a nap).  Unfortunately we enjoyed it without him.
He's been working lots, lots, lots (as Jones would say).

First off I'm super glad you broke out the big guns, you take such great pictures... I'm suffering from ipone laziness syndrome too and I keep wanting to kick myself in the face. Secondly I love the cloth bow that you made Gretta and Thirdly, I'm reading Bossy Pants and its so funny. The end.

Okay, I take part of my last comment back: Jones DOES look older, and more like Scott than he did 8.5 months ago. And keep your Nikon out more often!

Yes, please use your Nikon more often! These pictures are awesome. And I can't believe I see some nudey pictures in January?!? What the heck?!? We're living in the wrong state. You have a great eye, my friend. One of my fave pictures of Eleanor is the one with your headband on her. I love those. Keep enjoying your "winter".

I love the good ol' Nikon too! I haven't invested in a decent phone so I am stuck lugging that thing around most days...so the big camera is good but it would definitely be really nice to use a phone!! Your kids are darling. I love the pictures. I hope Texas is treating you well...with the water play in winter, it is lookin' pretty nice! Miss you girl.
