Greta. Greta. Greta.
This itty bitty girl is an adorable handful. A fireball of attitude.
She almost has an entire mouthful of teeth...which she is currently using to bite Jones with when he takes her toys and wrestles her to the floor.
She prefers to do all things by herself and in the most painstakingly detailed way.
She most often says "no" and "mine", but she also says:
let go
my turn
stop it
stinky
not working
fix it
doggy, cat, birdie
potty
bye daddy
daddy work
big kiss
hug
Jonesie
more milk
blueberries
popcorn
itchy
up, down, up, down
hit me (referring to Jones)
night night
teeth, eyebrows, eye, nose, ear, mouth, cheek, foot
wiggle, wiggle, wiggle
And the list could go on. Every day I ask her to say new things because I can't get over the cuteness of her voice. Jones didn't sing much as a little guy, but Greta loves to sing with me and she knows a lot of lyrics. The ABCs, I'm So Glad When Daddy Comes Home (an LDS nursery song) and Popcorn Popping are her big hits around here.
Greta is also counting to 10 in a wandering sort of way and I was blown away the first time I heard her. I was talking to Jones and asked him to count to 10 and I heard a little voice behind me saying, "Se-yen, eight, ine...". I'm a proud mommy.
Although Greta is a cutie cute cutie, she is ALWAYS fighting with Jones and shouting "Let go!" and other sassy phrases. The fighting is wearing me down and I'm trying to keep the peace 24-7.
Can't we just find the love?
