Whitney: So I found this inflatable tub that I want to bring to Thailand for Jones. It fits inside a big tub and he won't slide around.

Scott: There won't be a tub to put it in.

Whitney: Oh, there's no tub? But there is a shower?

Scott: Yeah, there's a shower.

Whitney: Well then I can just put it in the shower. Where would be bathe him if we didn't bring this?

Scott: We'd have to get a bucket.

Whitney: (thinks about the documentary "Babies" and realizes what it means to live in Thailand) Oh.

5 months old?

Mom has a secret for baby. The secret is...I have a double chin.

Jones got to meet all of my former coworkers from Happy Sumo when we got together for lunch at Shoga.

Tessa & Jared Harris stopped by for a visit. I wish we could have spent more time with them. Perhaps we'll see them in SF...?

Our final friend visit was with baby Ari, his mom, Mandy and the sexy and pregnant Alison.

Babies and Alison have a mutual love for one another.

Our last evening in Utah was spent with my dad and Sue. Sue is trying to help me take a good action shot.

Our walk ran a bit late for the Jones, but he loved it and behaved like a champ.

Jones and I enjoyed a wonderfully sunny afternoon with Lizzie and Alice Dalton. Lego blocks were new to Jones. Sharing was new to Alice. It was hilarious.

Alice "gave loves" by putting her head on Jones' face, chest, shoulder...wherever. One of her loves took him over.

Lesson: Too many loves leaves you with another baby's green beans on your forehead.

This makes me wish we had a lawn. I guess we have sand instead. Sand with a gopher patrolling the grounds.

The Pizza Place and Eric (and Paul and Tim)

On a moments notice we were invited to The Pizza Place last night to dine with our old buddy (and Chateau Normandie neighbor) Eric. He is in town for work and we were so excited to be able to spend the evening with him. We wish Eric's wife Alison could have been there too, but I'll get to see her while in Utah this week. Jones was snoozing so we gave Mallory his monitor and dashed out of the house.

The night was filled with anecdotes that kept us in stitches.

"Are those potatoes?". Yes, Eric, yummy potatoes on the Besto pizza.

Mmmm. Besto.

Finally, Paul arrives.

Apparently, Paul said something funny.

Can Scott take a normal photo? Not unless made to by his dear, sweet wife.

Me: "Scott, why weren't you looking at the camera?"
Scott: "I was looking cool."
