Went for an official walk with Jones yesterday in Golden Gate Park. It's a tradition we'd like to incorporate into our lives more often.

I know Jones looks like E.T. here, but this is what you get from a camera phone and bathroom lighting. Scott was out getting dinner while I bathed Jones and I wanted to capture this "first" so daddy didn't miss it.

I don't know why this came out red. Weird.

When I compare pictures of Jones from this post and Grandma Gray's visit, he looks notably different. He has lost his newborn swollen face, so I hope he gets some chubbiness back to his cheeks.

Jones tried out a Halloween outfit from Mallory and it fits great. If the frog suit doesn't work out, he'll be Johnny from Karate Kid. If you don't understand that reference, it's time for you to watch Karate Kid again.

Grandma's visit

Thank you for all of your help, ideas, support and time. Jones misses his Grandma Gray and his mom is still grateful for those nights of deep sleep. :)

Befriending Mr. Owl

Jones has an owl blankie from Aunt Mallory that I'm trying to introduce to him slowly so that when he's a little bigger he'll have something to sleep with. So far, so good.

Jones is growing

I attended a breastfeeding support group on Friday afternoon (so helpful!) and I was able to weigh Jones there. He came in at 7 lbs 14 oz. His last weigh in on October 3rd was 7 lbs 7 oz or so. Nice work Jones. Keep fattening up. Other changes with Jones...his eyes watch mommy and daddy better and stay more focused. He is getting more baby acne. He is spitting up a little less. Still peeing on mommy all too frequently. Happy 3 week birthday Jones.

SF Museum of Modern Art

Our first time at the MOMA. The Richard Avedon exhibit was pretty cool. I kind of got bored after about a half an hour. Actually, I got a headache and started to wish I was napping. Maybe its not the same as boredom. Nevertheless, I won't be hitting another museum any time soon.
