False Labor Day

So our Monday Labor Day was going pretty well. Fairly leisurely and yet productive at the same time...the best kind of day. Around 10:30 PM I started to have a lot of lower back pain with abdominal tightening. I woke Scott up at 1:00 AM to help me time it. A few episodes of 30 Rock and Arrested Development later...they were still frequent, but irregular in frequency and duration. I was able to fall asleep eventually and have just woken up to discover that I feel totally normal and nothing has changed. Dang it. We were so ready. Bags packed, house cleaned, checklist checked...perhaps tonight it will be the real deal. But let's just be honest, this baby probably isn't going to make his appearance for several more days. Here's to avoiding September 11th.

I just talked to you and nothing was said about this!!!! I guess I need to start keeping my phone by the bed. I better get a call at 2am if you're going in, cause I'll be driving.

I didn't say anything because it wasn't a big deal. I've had pains off and on for at least a week now. I wasn't going to call to tell you I had some 15 to 40 second back aches every so often through the night. I'll let you know when something happens.

Remember, even if your pains don't feel like they are doing anything, they could be doing a little something. Just hang in there. we love you and can't wait to hear the news that we have a new little nephew to love and spoil. Remember, good things come to those who wait...and yes I know, easier said then done...at least you won't have to wait an extra 2 weeks for him to show up...I hope!
