Why this blog is (and I quote) "snoozeville"

February brought me a very lovely Christmas gift in the form of an online Illustrator course (thank you, Mallory) and I have been spending most of my free time practicing and studying. I'm including below a few of the things I've been working on, but they're not going to be very impressive. These are just brief homework assignments I was given. I have really enjoyed this course and am excited to continue working in Illustrator.

yep. love the name hazel. it was on my list and greg said no way. he thinks old names are off limits. what am i supposed to do? name our kids Kaybrinleighanabellakylieah? what? nope.

love the illustrations. you are creativo, please keep posting them. i still think your girl drawings on stubborn fish are the funniest.
