I showered and dressed while Greta napped this afternoon and only upon getting her from her bassinet did I realize that we were twinsies. I guess when 90% of the clothes you own and 75% of your baby's clothes are striped, something like this is bound to happen.
I'm not a fan of mommy-baby matching, so Grets will have to find a new outfit for the day. Sorry, girl. I have seniority here.

(pay no attention to the crooked "art" behind me. i have no time to fix
or improve it. no time I say!)

you look beautiful!!! I wish I could hold that beautiful little lady! Or more importantly bring you dinner!
she is adorable. i want to hold her, too!
my mom has always told me that when i was a baby and she was still working she'd unconsciously dress us alike in the mornings. i think that's too cute.
i also bought baby dresses that look alarmingly similar to a certain skirt i have, but can't fit into, and didn't realize until they were home and in girls' dresser. oh well. it may be a long time before i can wear that skirt again. ugh
There are probably 20 things just like that at my house that I see and don't have time to fix. One was a dead bug on our laundry room floor that Lucy "smashed" multiple times a day. I think it's turned into ashes by now.
