Conversations with Jones

Mom: Go play in the sandbox.
Jones: No, I'm shy.

M: Let's find a game for Jones.
J: Oh yes. Good idea! Great!

J: (puts Greta's hat on his head) I'm pretty!

(Jones types on an old keyboard)
M: Do you want to play with your train?
J: I'm working. I'm send a email.

M: Let's go eat dinner with our friends.
J: We eat noodles? And rice? AND RiCE!!

(Jones carries pillows across the room to mom)
J: It heavy (grunts). I so strong.
M: I don't want a pillow.
J: Here you go, mommy.

(Watching an Ironman race)
M: Jones, clap and cheer for the people running by.
J: Good job, people!

M: I'll push you ten more times. Let's count. One...two...
J: (In a voice like The Count) Three, ah hah hah! Four, ah hah hah!
