I have a wonderful SLR camera and it sits in a drawer all day, every day. I am making a promise to the internet world that I will take it out this week and take advantage of our lovely weather. In the meantime, just a bunch of cell phone photos.
Here's a look at what we've been up to outdoors. I admit that when we decided to come to Madison I wasn't excited to live in an apartment complex. I've always liked the feeling of being in a home, but the playground outside our door has been the best way to spend our time. Where would I be without these swings and the fresh air? Eating goldfish crackers in a corner while my kids run the house. Haha.
The Henry Vilas Zoo is also a fun place to visit, but I can't handle it for longer than an hour. I get a little sad seeing all the animals that definitely don't belong in Wisconsin. And for some reason, walking around the zoo with Jones and Greta is way more exhausting than taking them on a 5K.
Jones is so happy to be with Henry. If Jones could live with Henry, he would. Oh, wait...we sort of did at Christmas, didn't we?
The upper 70 degree weather last week meant breaking out the pool for an afternoon. Greta mostly ate crackers and mud while Jones enjoyed the water.
We almost never meet daddy at school, but the thought of a blue ice cream cone got us motivated.
And it was worth it.
