Texas is home now. It seemed like June and July stretched on forever, but finally we are here in Austin and we are mostly loving it. Our apartment is not yet equipped with the Internet and won't be for another week so I'm stealing a moment in Scott's office to write this. Scott is working hard to prepare for his 3 courses this Fall (4 sections total) and rides his bike the .8 miles to the St. Edwards' campus every day. The weather here is no surprise, but it is taking some getting used to. The humidity leaves me drenched after a 10 yard walk outdoors. I'd like to be joking about that, but I'm not. I hear the weather gets better next month and I am praying that it's the truth. The kids and I spend our days running around the house and swimming in our apartment pool. We took a drive around Austin on Sunday and we are excited to get to eatin' at the local restaurants. I will post photos and more updates soon, but don't hold your breath.

You are the best wife that has ever existed. I am crazy about you.
I'm glad that you guys made it safe and sound! Good luck living without the internet.
Love "Scott's" comment. Or perhaps you are married to the best husband who does in fact leave you sweet messages such as this. I am glad to hear you made it safe and sound, although sorta wishing you were still here. I'm jealous of your new adventure in a new place with new restaurants. That is usually my favorite part of being in a new place... the food. Excited for future posts!
You are the best friend that has ever existed. I am crazy about you, too. :)
Oh, and I'm happy to see you post something. I can't wait to see pictures of Austin.
Aww, what a sweet comment from the hubby... Anyway, I've been meaning to send you an email to see how you're doing, but I'm lame and busy and haven't done it yet, so it's good to hear that you're alive and well. I do look forward to hearing more and seeing pictures. We miss you all!!!
