What a day...
I took Jones into the office today thinking that the staff meeting would be a good time for everyone to see how much he's grown and how fun he is. Oops. I made one serious error by forgetting his pacifier in the car.
Jones talked loudly through the first half of the meeting (playtime with George the Giraffe) and then proceeded to yell and cry through the last half. I was foiled in my attempt to display what a nice boy he is. I'm sure it won't be the last time.
Let's face it. It was my fault that he was having a meltdown.
20 minutes past nap time + no crib = squawking child.

I finally gave up and left the meeting to rush out and get his pacifier. This is us leaving the office to go home. Jones is tired here, but calm. I was calm, but sweaty from bouncing him for 20 minutes straight and then toting his little body through the Castro.
"Little does she know that I'm going to make the rest of her day and night one glorious, fussy saga. And yes, I have an impressive vocabulary for a 4 month old."
