Jones' newest obsession is coins, all of which he calls "pennies". He usually has one or two in his hands and not a day goes by that we don't have a discussion about the appropriate use of pennies (i.e. never letting Greta have one and not eating them). Don't worry, he only put one in his mouth once...wait...as I'm typing this he just put one in his mouth. Okay, I have taken away the penny and he is now prostrate on the floor crying. And he has pinkeye, so he's a miniature Quasimodo rolling around in despair. Oh, Jones. He just stood up and told me "I calmed down. I calmed down." Hmm...you're still not getting the penny back, Quasi.
Anyway, my little miser wrote a song about pennies yesterday and it goes like this
(to the tune of 'C is for Cookie'):
C is for two pennies, that's good enough for me.
C is for two pennies, that's good enough for me.
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with pennies!
He's a genius, right?
