Off the ball

If I am sometimes on the ball, then it makes sense to say that lately I have been off the ball.  I don't know what is wrong with me, but I have been SO lazy lately.  I think the dreariness of March got the best of me.  But now we are basking in the upper 50 degree weather and enjoying the benefits of Daylight Savings (i.e. children waking up after 6 AM).  Yes, Daylight Savings started just this morning, but I'm just riding the wave of excitement.

I guess I'll just post a smattering of photos from the past month.
If I get some words of encouragement, I might be able to muster a real blog post next week.  :)

First (and last?) snowman of the year.

"Under dog".

Airing out a diaper rash, with poise.

Reading her favorite book for what seems like forever.

Getting their superhero on.

Buckteeth.  Sad haircut.  Absurdly tiny bib.  No eating skills.  I love him.

The wonder of snow.

Pre-bedtime "I Spy" with daddy.

Greta's 9 month check up.  19 lbs, in the 50s for weight and height, and 95th percentile
for her head, of course.

Angry face.  If this was the face he mad when he was actually angry, tantrums might be a bit more fun.

Hands-off parenting.  :)

A trip to campus for a picnic with friends.

You even managed some captions - nice.

I like the new blog header (I don't know HOW new it is).

And other encouraging words.

SO many things I loved about this post.

1) The photography
2) Those bird curtains(!!)
3) Greta's striped outfit
4) The bum picture
5) The fact that at 9 months Greta weighs a whopping 1 lb more than Chloe did at her 4 month appointment.

Also, I LOVED Greta's dress today at church. So cute (and that you and her were kind of color-coordinated.)

perhaps it is because you were a single mom for a while, and now you're trying to recuperate. that's how i operate, at least.

You guys get some GOOD use out of your kid's winter clothing. :) We're still hoping to get to see you guys at some point.... Texas is closer, so it could happen!

Whit and Scott,
Your kids create some of the greatest photos on earth! It is a real source of "JOY" for their Grandma and Grandpa Christopherson!
Thank you for taking time out of a very busy, "mother-of-two little ones" day to photograph and write on your blog. We are excited to see you all soon! Love, JuJu
