Best. Birthday. Ever.
Took a boat to an island called Laan. White sands, beautiful weather. Snorkeled. Ate Thai food under an umbrella. Took a motorbike around the island. Enjoyed ice cream. Bought a dress. Nearly missed our boat back to Pattaya. Had to run down the beach to catch it. Really good adventure. Total cost in US dollars... $35.
After the island fun we went to a mall and bought some inexpensive, large-sized, American clothes so we could go out to a nice restaurant with our friends, Taa and Colin (most Thai stores here only sell small sizes. Dear Thailand, I know I still have some baby weight to lose, but am I really a size XXL? Really?). The restaurant was called Cherry's and it was absolutely delicious. They served a palette cleansing sorbet before the main course, so you know they mean business. The prices were equivalent to...I guess an Applebees. I think I might be tempted to stay here.

I love your freckles and Scott's freckles. They prove that you both have red-headed genes! Really attractive on both of you! The sun gives you lots of good stuff along with some bad...
