Not to take away from the excitement of the last post...but I just got my baby video monitor today--using it this very moment for sleeping baby--and I am ecstatic. Scott knows just how annoyingly often I check on the baby during naps and I am happy to say goodbye to those check-ins. I am also happy to say hello to peace of mind. I have been a paranoid mom since day one (poking the baby to make sure he's alive...) and this makes me feel so at ease. Why didn't I just invest in one of these from the start?

That tiny,ultra short moving picture of Jones tells me he is "movie star" material! What a smiley little darling. I really want to see him in person. Can't you just fly up for a few days?
