A nod to Utah

Today I feel sad about being so far from Scott's family and a good chunk of my own. I miss family dinners and outings. I miss crushing Mike in Boggle -- or any other board game for that matter. I miss lots of stuff, too many things to mention. Wait, I'll mention one more thing. I miss playing softball as the sun sets across the mountains, our family cheering us on in the stands. **sigh** I find solace in being able to visit Courtney and Tony this weekend and be present at my first Michael Bozzuto birthday fiesta. Let's party.

You must have attended the John McCain school of advertising: you beat me once in Boggle, and I'm having a tough time remembering any other of your victories (maybe once in Balderdash). And that was all before you and Scott were married, so I was letting you win to make sure we didn't scare you off. If you'll recall, the gloves really came off during that game we played at my parents' house that has a politically incorrect name I'm forgetting.
